These guys work extremely hard and they wanna see some results. Well we showed them. Motion tracked and animated in 3D space for Under Armour’s new site, combine360.com.
We collaborated with IQ Agency who designed and developed the site to produce multiple :30 spots and long form videos which explain and promote Under Armour’s combine system of training and measuring results.

Stop what you’re doing cause I’m about to ruin, ok, sorry, but really, next week, April 19th-25th get into Digital Detox week. I’m beginning to notice all my friends’ eyes are a little sullen, psychologists are working on diagnosis for media hoarders, people give shout outs over facebook to people right across the room. It’s stupid. I am a total geek, but I think this deal has merit. Now, given that I, we, most people I talk to everyday make their living using a computer you can’t/shouldn’t completely shut out digital. But just put down the pipe for a minute.

House shot entirely on 5D

House shot on 5D, vely intelesting…especially since CS5 has really smooth integration of raw footage (be careful, the dude with the pony tail and chops is a bit overwhelming). That combined with 64 bit integration and the Mercury playback engine deal taking advantage of all of your RAM. Damn

Christopher will be speaking at SCAD Atlanta Saturday the 17th with a panel of motion media folks including others from Adult Swim, Disney and NBC.
Open to students and professionals. $10 for members of NATAS, $20 for everyone else gets you access to all of the panels. 9A-3P this Saturday. Register on the NATAS site.

Former Luckyfish intern debuts another music video for Yeasayer
Kirby McClure and partner Julia Gregorian formed Radical Friends shortly after Kirby’s longish stint as an intern, flash designer, animator at Luckyfish. He then went on to appear in various unshowable videos and ludacris adventures pretty much baffling most of Atlanta. It was then that Kirb packed up his apartment in a basket and strapped Julia onto his bicycle and pedaled their way to New York. That didn’t last long since the Radical Friends decided more sun was needed to nourish the part of the brain which excites psychadelic visuals such as those featured in Ambling Alp and their latest stellar, 80’s revival bit of incredulous awesomeness for ONE. Somehow, the two have managed to not only make incredibly enduring, visually pleasing videos but as well they always pick or end up making videos to extremely palatable music.
They have a write up in Rolling Stone and many other music blogs around the web. Ambling Alp was a featured video on Pitchfork and
